Whilst we treat every
lawn treatment as bespoke, typically we recommend the core LLC service
which consists of 4 seasonal applications of designer fertilisers and
selective herbicibes; early summer, spring, late summer, and autumn.
According to the condition and requirements of your lawn each application
will include treaments for moss, weeds,
thatch, insects and bare patches.
| Spring:
March-April |
This first treatment of
fertiliser will give your lawn the right boost to start off a
healthy growing season, plus an initial application of weed killer
to stop early weed development. |
| |
At this stage we recommend
an application of a no-scorch fertiliser to maintain a lush growth
and resistance against weeds. If necessary we will also apply
a selective weed killer for the persistent weeds. |
Late Summer:
July September
|
Once again an application of our slow
release no-scorch granular fertiliser makes sure that your lawn
is well-fed. It is also advisable at this time of year to check
for insect problems and diseases, as well as applying any necessary
weed controls |
Autumn:
September – November
|
This autumn treatment
of fertiliser makes sure that the grass plant is fit to cope through
the Winter by feeding and strengthening roots in preparation for
the months ahead. |

Scarification:
Much more effective than lawn raking, scarification removes the surface
thatch that is often the biggest cause of stress to your lawn. Once
thatch has been removed water and nutrients can get right to the roots
of your lawn helping to create that green carpet-like effect.
Hollow-tine
Aeration:
A recommended winter treatment for lawns with a soil base of clay, this
service eradicates the causes of moss and allowing us to create a better
soil structure for your lawn. This treatment also minimises the effects
of compaction and allows us to introduce the right ingredients for a
healthy lawn at root level.
Special
Events:
Want your garden to look tip top for a big day? Should you be planning
a special event in your garden this summer then we can design a specific
package in order for your lawn to perform!
